Prohibited from Going Home, Faul LIDA Longs to Celebrate Eid in Hometown

Kapanlagi.com - Fauzul Abadi or Faul LIDA once again has to celebrate Eid abroad this year. The champion of the Second Season of Indonesian Dangdut League cannot go home because this year the pandemic caused by the spread of the Covid-19 virus is still affecting the country.

When met at his residence in Cipayung, East Jakarta recently, Faul admitted that he didn't mind about it. However, of course, the 25-year-old man couldn't hide his disappointment.

"If Eid this year is the same as last year, I have bought a ticket to go home to my hometown. Last year, I didn't know yet, but this year, some people said it was allowed but in reality it's not allowed, so I will celebrate Eid in Jakarta," Faul said.

"Actually, it's not nice to celebrate Eid abroad, even though my expectations are far away in Aceh, so it feels like there's no Eid at all. But I still have my family, so there's a festive atmosphere of Eid," he continued.

1. Returning After Eid

In addition, Faul also responded to the government's policy regarding the ban on homecoming. Because he couldn't go home during Eid, the singer from Aceh plans to return after Eid because he happens to have business matters in his hometown.

"Previously, I already knew the government's appeal that those in Jakarta couldn't go home. Well, after Eid, I plan to have an off-air event in Aceh, maybe later (after performing) I'll go to my place first before the off-air location," he said.

2. Missing Visiting Graves

Talking about Eid in his hometown, of course, there are customs that he really misses. Such as visiting family graves and visiting relatives.

"What I miss is the moment of visiting graves with family, there is an art to it, walking together in groups to the cemetery," he concluded.
