Rara LIDA Releases 9th Single After 2 Years, The Process Was Not Easy

Kapanlagi.com - Rara LIDA, or fondly called Lady Rara, finally greets her fans with her latest single titled Let Me Go. After two years of waiting, Rara releases her work and shares the story behind the long process she went through.

In an interview conducted in the Gondangdia area, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (17/2/2025), Rara expressed her gratitude. "Maybe finally today I can successfully try to write our music video. Alhamdulillah after waiting for 2 years I can finally release a single again. I'm really happy, of course, touched because 2 years is actually not a short time, right," she revealed.

After much anticipation, Rara admitted that many fans have been asking when her latest song would be released. Although the process was long, the result is very satisfying. "So many friends have been asking when the single will come out. But Alhamdulillah today I can release my latest song," she added.

1. Journey to Release

This single project is the result of Rara's long journey over the past two years. She feels very happy to be able to create again and greet her fans. '"Alhamdulillah, after waiting for two years, I can finally release a single again," she explained enthusiastically.

2. A Work Created with Love

The song Relakan Aku was written by Adibal and rearranged by Yusuf Tojiri. Rara explained that this song originally had a classical vibe, but needed to be revamped to better suit her vocal character. "Actually, this song was already complete. But because I also visited Kak Adibal's place, he pulled the song back, and I liked it," she said.

3. Challenges in the Recording Process

The recording process and the production of the music video for this song turned out to be quite challenging. Rara had to battle extreme weather during the shooting. "The recording process was also very long. Because this song really changed character a lot," she explained.

4. Memorable Shooting Experience

The music video shooting took place in Cibidai, Ciput Patenga. Rara feels satisfied with the final result because she was also involved in various creative processes. "I am also grateful to have participated in the making process. So I am thankful and satisfied with the results today," she expressed enthusiastically.

At first, Rara felt that this song was very relatable to her personal story. However, over time, she sees it as a story that can inspire many people. "Initially, this song felt very relatable to me. But thankfully, now I am happy," she explained.
