Reported Arrested by Police for Selling Fake Swab and PCR Test Results, Iis Dahlia Gets Angry

Kapanlagi.com - Iis Dahlia was angered by an online media that reported about her. Recently, the 49-year-old dangdut singer was reported to have been arrested by the police for selling fake swab antigen and PCR test results. 

Upon investigation, in the news, the suspect's name is indeed the same as the singer of the song Payung Hitam. However, what made Iis even more furious was that one news portal published her photo, seemingly confirming that she was the perpetrator. 

Unluckily, the news had already been widely spread by a news aggregator application from various media outlets. Unhappy with this, Iis immediately requested the application to clarify and demand an apology. 

Through her Instagram, the mother of Devano Danendra sent a message to the editor-in-chief of the application, expressing her objection to the news. 

"I hereby express my objection to the news published by H***-B*** with the title 'Iis Dahlia Arrested After Selling Fake Swab Antigen and PCR Test Results, Facing 6 Years in Prison' on H***-B*** on July 29, 2021," wrote Iis Dahlia in her letter to the editor-in-chief of the news application.

In her letter, Iis Dahlia also revealed that what was done by the news aggregator application has harmed her. Not only that, in her opinion, this incident also has the potential to violate the ITE Law.

Because of this, Iis Dahlia requested the application party to immediately provide clarification and make an apology for the mistakes they made.

"Based on the above, I reprimand the H***-B*** party to immediately make a clarification and apology that includes my objections," she said.

2. Taking Legal Action

At the end of her message, Iis Dahlia waited for the application to clarify and respond within 24 hours. If by that time nothing has been done, Iis is ready to resolve this issue through legal channels. 

"If within a maximum of 24 hours H***-B*** does not fulfill my request above, then I will not hesitate to take further legal action to resolve this issue, both criminal and civil in accordance with applicable law," concluded Iis Dahlia.
