It has been quite a long time, but Lia admits that she has not personally apologized to Syahrini. She insists that she never mentioned any names when talking about Pak Haji, so there is no need to apologize.

"No, I just made a statement that if there are words of mine that are offensive, but I did not mention any names or anyone. But if someone is offended by my words, I apologize. But I haven't apologized to someone directly involved yet. But if someone intentionally causes trouble because of what you said, then you should apologize, and I would gladly apologize," said Lia when met at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Wednesday (10/6).

1. Feeling Disadvantaged

The Three Wolves personnel also claimed to have suffered losses because of this issue. Especially with the statement that he had to apologize to Syahrini.

"I myself feel disadvantaged by this news. Because the media writes someone's name without my permission. I also feel disadvantaged by having to apologize. Then I also feel disadvantaged by being mentioned as a fugitive, already a suspect, it really disturbs me. But I still follow the process first. But please media don't manipulate. I won't run away either, there is a proper procedure. It doesn't mean I came here as a suspect, I am a witness. As a good citizen, I didn't go anywhere, I stayed in Jakarta. But there is a procedure, what should I do first. And media like 'don't be biased' in their news. Give the correct news," he explained.

2. Assumption

Leo Situmorang, Lia's lawyer, asked that there be no more twisting of his client's words. Because the problem that Lia is currently facing is an assumption that then makes others misunderstand.

"There is no intention to corner (anyone). So let's never assume that the statement, for example, 'Pak Haji,' should be assumed with anything. There might be a work relationship, other relationships, but don't categorize it as an incorrect relationship," Leo emphasized.

3. Not Personally Knowing Syahrini

Lia also admitted that she does not personally know Syahrini, despite meeting her several times. "We met at events or TV birthday parties before. But it was just a meeting. But who doesn't know her," she said.

She also denied deliberately taking advantage of the issue with Syahrini as a publicity stunt. "Some say I'm seeking attention, but I'm like, what is this? They even said I'm a suspect, it's sad, very heartless. It's a hoax that I'm already a suspect," she added.

"I am grateful to everyone who cares about this case. Yes, we do need clarification if we refuse to speak. Yes, I want to speak about how someone hasn't been questioned yet. I have been questioned and examined now, so I can provide a statement. But please don't twist it around again," Lia concluded.
