Revealed! Didi Kempot is preparing a new album before passing away

Kapanlagi.com - Renowned musician Didi Kempot passed away due to sudden cardiac arrest. He took his last breath on Tuesday (5/5/2020) at around 07.45 AM WIB at Kasih Ibu Hospital, Solo, Central Java.

Before his eternal departure, Didi had just finished recording a duet song with Yuni Shara titled Kapusan Janji. This song apparently becomes one of the tracks in the new album being prepared by the maestro of campursari.

1. Second Album

"We have collaborated with Didi Kempot for the second album, which will be released in 2020. One of the songs is Kapusan Janji," said Achmad Yusuf, the producer of SKI Records, as quoted from the Whatsapp message received by KapanLagi.com on Tuesday (5/5/2020).

2. Affected by the Corona Virus

The release of Didi Kempot's duet single with Yuni Shara has been hindered by the unfinished process of making the music video due to the corona virus pandemic. In addition to Yuni, the man known as the Godfather of Broken Heart also duets with singer Happy Asmara.

"Actually, in the near future, we will release a single titled Kapusan Janji and Ati Dudu Wesi, composed by Didi Kempot and sung by Yuni Shara and Happy Asmara. But because of this pandemic situation, we are still hindered in the process of making the music video," said Achmad Yusuf.

3. Newly Finished Seven Songs

In the prepared album, the musician with the birth name Dionisius Prasetyo plans to include ten new songs. However, so far only seven songs have been completed before he passed away, the remaining three are still in the process.

4. There Are a Total of 10 Songs

"There are a total of ten songs in collaboration with Didi Kempot. Currently, seven songs have been completed and are ready to be released, including Kapusan Janji and Ati Dudu Wesi performed as a duet, then Cemoro Sewu, Klentheng, Aku Kudu Piye, Nelongso Ati, and Istigfar Sak Kuatmu performed solo. The remaining three are still in the process," said Achmad Yusuf.
