Sad News, Dangdut Singer Connie Nurlita Passes Away Due to Heart Attack

Kapanlagi.com - The dangdut music world has lost one of its best dangdut singers, Connie Nurlita on Tuesday (30/5/2023) at 08.00 WIB. This sad news was confirmed by Connie Nurlita's friend, Novan. When contacted by KapanLagi.com, Novan revealed that Connie passed away in the morning.

"Yes, it's true, Mas. Mbak Connie passed away this morning between eight and nine due to a heart attack," said Novan, Connie Nurlita's friend, when contacted on Tuesday (30/5/2023).

1. No History of Illness

According to Novan, Connie had no history of illness. Even before she passed away, Connie wanted to exercise. Connie then took her last breath while being taken to the hospital.

"She wasn't sick anymore. So earlier she wanted to exercise, then suddenly she had a heart attack and passed away in the car while being taken to the hospital," he said.

"At the hospital, she was gone," he added.

2. Still in Mourning

Currently, Connie Nurlita's body is still at the Grand Heaven Pluit funeral home. Novan revealed that the late Connie's body will be buried on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

"It's still at the Grand Heaven Pluit funeral home. The plan is to bury her on Thursday," said Novan.

Connie Nurlita is known as one of the active dangdut singers in the 90s era. Although her career in the dangdut music industry may not be as successful as her contemporaries like Ikke Nurjanah and Cici Paramida, she has released many singles and albums.

Some of her hit albums and songs include ‘Ayang Ayangmu’, ‘Ular Cobra’, ‘Gigi Mundur’, and ‘Melawan Sepi’. Connie also once collaborated with the late singer Didi Kempot and Ndar Boy.
