Aulia DA has become one of the popular dangdut singers. Besides her beautiful appearance, Aulia's melodious voice is the reason why she is liked by many.
Thanks to her hard work, this dangdut singer from Pontianak has achieved success. Of course, she had to go through a long and winding road to reach her current position.
Now known as a successful and beautiful dangdut singer, Aulia DA once experienced unpleasant treatment.
Aulia revealed that she and her family were once insulted because of their impoverished condition.
"Even our own family insulted us. Because we were poor. We didn't even have a motorcycle, so we used bicycles for everything. Even our own family insulted us like that," said Aulia as quoted from the Indosiar Youtube channel.
With the determination to change her fate, in 2017 Aulia tried her luck by auditioning for the fourth season of Dangdut Academy.
At that time, Aulia almost gave up because she didn't pass the audition. "I cried, you know, because I didn't pass," said Aulia.
Although initially worried, Aulia finally managed to continue her struggle to achieve her dream as a singer after being contacted by Indosiar.
"Around half past 4 (in the morning) there was a phone call. Hello, this is from Indosiar, congratulations, you passed the audition. I was really happy," Aulia recalled.
Her journey eventually led Aulia to become the third champion of D'Academy 4 and D'Academy Asia 3.
