Seven-Month Event, Singer Nabilla Gomes Admits She's Afraid of Giving Birth

The selection of Javanese customs as a concept was apparently intentional by Nabilla and her husband named Muhammad Reza. Because when they got married, they also used that custom.

"Indeed, the event is very traditional. Because at that time we got married using Javanese customs, so we have to continue the tradition. Earlier there was salawatan, recitation, breaking coconuts and eggs," said Nabilla after the event, in the Fatmawati area, South Jakarta.

Without realizing it, in two months, Nabilla Gomes' baby in the womb will be born into the world. As a woman, she felt scared.

"I am indeed paranoid because I read and hear from friends what childbirth is like. But my husband calms me down every night with prayers and remembrance. Pray a lot," said Nabilla.

2. Prepare Hospital and Doctor

Meanwhile, Reza as the husband has prepared all the needs of the hospital before the birth of their first child. He wants everything to go smoothly until the D-day.

"I have enthusiastically prepared everything from the hospital to the doctor. Fortunately, the doctor is a family member. Then the baby's equipment, the room, and others," added Reza on the same occasion.

3. Still Thinking about the Name

Nabilla Gomes and Reza revealed the gender of their child, which turned out to be a girl. Until now, they are still confused in searching for a name.

"The name is still being prepared. We think that the name is a gift from parents to their child, so it needs to be carefully considered. There may be three syllables, our name, my family's name, and Nabilla's family's name," concluded Reza.

4. Foreign Currency Dowry

Nabilla Gomes was married to Muhammad Reza on Friday, May 28, 2021. This singer's wedding procession took place at the Masjid Kubah Emas, Depok, West Java.

Nabilla and Reza's wedding dowry became a spotlight because it consisted of three foreign currencies, namely 17 Euros, 900 yen, and 3 dollars. The choice of 17, 9, and 3 was actually taken from Nabilla's birth date, which is on the 17th of 1993.
