Struggling in DAA 6, Melly Lee Claims to Have Made a Vow If She Becomes the Champion

Meli LIDA or Melly Lee, the representative of Indonesia in the competition of Dangdut Academy Asia 6, is just a few steps away from reaching the final round. In the future, if she manages to enter the final and win the Dangdut Academy Asia (DAA) 6 competition, she admitted that she already has a vow.

"If I win, I will be grateful to Allah SWT, this is Melly's biggest achievement after LIDA," said the champion of LIDA 2020 when recently met.

Meli's vow is to provide assistance for orphans and a shelter for neglected cats abandoned on the streets.

"Meli wants to organize an event with orphans and create a special cat house for stray cats on the street. Because Meli loves cats, when she sees stray cats on the street, she feels sorry," said Meli.

However, if she cannot make it to the final round and is eliminated from DAA 6, Meli will accept it gracefully.

"If I have to leave, there's nothing I can do, I can't deny fate. What's important is that I can give my best performance," said Meli.

Furthermore, Meli admitted that even though she has competed and won LIDA, she still feels nervous when performing on the stage of Dangdut Academy Asia 6.

"Honestly, I am more nervous now than before. In the past (during LIDA), when I sang one or two sentences, the nervousness disappeared. But now, from the beginning to the end of the song, I still tremble, maybe because the responsibility is different, carrying the name of Indonesia," she said.

Meli also hopes that her performance in the Top 6 will go well and she can make it to the grand final. "Hopefully, Meli can maintain her performance and not decline. Hopefully, she can continue to improve in every performance," she said.
