Baby stated that she wore clothing during the body checking process. Furthermore, Baby was not forced to remove all of her clothes.
"Oh, if it's up to me personally, I wasn't forced to open, not forced either," said Baby Kristami when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Monday (14/8/2023).
"If body checking is done by all 30 finalists," added Baby Kristami.
In contrast to what his colleagues R and J stated, who claimed to be victims and have reported the issue to the Jakarta Metro Police, Baby does not feel photographed during the body checking process.
"As for me personally, I wasn't photographed because I don't have tattoos and injuries, and there were no threats either. I didn't feel threatened at all," he said.
Outside of that, Baby expressed her concern about the alleged sexual harassment that her fellow finalists experienced. Baby hopes that this case will be resolved fairly and justly.
"It's sad, hopefully this will quickly pass and end well, with justice being served," said Baby.
"My friends who feel violated, we must respect their feelings, we must provide a safe space. This serves as a lesson for all of us to be more aware and oppose sexual harassment," concluded Baby.
