Tears Flow, Wiranti LIDA Cries Prostrating at Her Mother's Feet

Kapanlagi.com - The stage of Liga Dangdut Indonesia (LIDA) 2020 is full of surprises. Last night, Thursday (27/2), Wiranti, a participant from Gorontalo, received a special surprise from Indosiar.

She was surprised by the arrival of her mother, Noni Rdehi. Immediately, the arrival of her mother made Wiranti cry. She even prostrated at her mother's feet. Seeing this, the entire LIDA stage was flooded with tears.

Wiranti said that her motivation for participating in LIDA was solely because she wanted to achieve success as a singer in order to replace her mother's position as the backbone of the family.

"Ever since I was in first grade, Mama has been selling yellow rice around because my father is sick. That's why Wiranti is determined to succeed and become the backbone of the family," said Wiranti while crying.

1. Chasing His Dreams

In order to chase his dreams, the youngest child of four siblings, has put aside his longing for his family, especially for his mother, while struggling on the LIDA stage.

"Wiranti is also motivated to join LIDA because of her mother's words. Before leaving for here, her mother said, 'Child, I am tired, please take my place,'" said Wiranti while still sobbing.

In that touching moment, Wiranti was given a gift by her mother, which was a mukena (prayer gown) and a sajadah (prayer mat). Her mother hopes that with the mukena and sajadah she gave, Wiranti will always remember God and pray diligently.

"I gave her this mukena and sajadah, so that Wiranti will pray regularly. Pray for herself, pray for the family, and pray for me too," said Wiranti's mother, struggling to hold back her tears.

2. Working Hard for the Economy

Wiranti, in fact, has been working hard to help her family's economy by becoming a stage singer in her hometown. However, her income from singing is only enough to finance her education.

"If I have extra money from singing, I like to set it aside for my mother," said the woman born on September 12, 2002.
