Tell the Process of Making Single Hikmah, Meli LIDA's Achievement Song Exceeded Expectations

Kapanlagi.com - The champion of Liga Dangdut Indonesia season three, Meli Nuryani, has just released her debut single titled Hikmah. She also tells the process of making the song, a work by renowned dangdut musician, Hendro Saky.

"First, recording. So, after winning, three days after becoming the champion, Meli took a break while memorizing the lyrics and notations. During the recording, there were still some mistakes in the notations because Meli didn't really remember how it should be," said Meli when met in Kalibata area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (27/10) afternoon.

This young dangdut singer from Cianjur, West Java, also admitted to facing difficulties in memorizing the lyrics and notations in this latest and debut song of hers. Although it was challenging, after the release of this song, she expressed satisfaction with the positive response from music enthusiasts for this Hikmah song.

"Memorizing the notation and lyrics is difficult. This is my debut single for a lifetime and it has to be perfect and genuine for people to listen to. I don't want Meli to sing the wrong notes, and for the music video, Meli gave a thumbs up. Alhamdulillah, Meli's struggle to make this debut music video can be considered cool," she said.

"Alhamdulillah, many people have sent direct messages saying that the music video is cool, and the teaser that Meli posted on Instagram made them curious. After its release, many people have been playing the video clip and receiving positive comments from netizens," she continued.

2. Exceeding Expectations

In addition, for this 16-year-old girl, her achievement for her debut single has exceeded the target and expectations. She hopes that her first single can be a reference for her future works.

"It can be said that it was fulfilled. Making the music video was beyond Meli's expectations. I thought it would be normal, but the result was unexpected. Hopefully, it will be accepted by all Indonesian society and become a historic song for Meli in the future, leading her to a better path," she concluded.
