Getting more popular, Wika was chosen as the co host of Tukul Arwana. Yup, in the talkshow, Wika replaced Vega Darwanti. Wika had to compete with several candidates for that position. She revealed it herself when contacted on Friday (30/8). Read more below!
According to Wika, she was initially offered. Apparently, there are several other candidates who also aim for the co-host position. "Although there are indeed several candidates and in my opinion this is a good opportunity, I immediately said that I am interested if given the chance," she said.
Finally, Wika was chosen. She admitted that she is happy. "Alhamdulillah, I am happy because many people also wanted this position and this program is not new, and the former co-host, Kak Vega, was really good, and this program's brand is also the co-host," Wika continued.
To become a co-host like Vega, Wika realizes that she has to learn a lot. "I'm not burdened, but it actually becomes a reference for me to keep learning to provide something different from Kak Vega," she added.
He also knows that instead of trying to be like Vega, he has to build his own image. "I definitely can't imitate Kak Vega, here I want to build my own image," explained Wika.
What is also important for Wika is the chemistry with Tukul Arwana. "If chemistry is natural, then it has started to form because we have started meeting every day. So the more we meet, the more we talk, ask questions, share," explained Wika.
In addition, Tukul, who is known for his funny image, apparently demands Wika to keep up.
"To keep up with everything that Mr. Tukul throws, I'll catch it. The bait from him must be responded to. Comedy requires mutual response, so really focus and pay attention to our partner. So that what he throws doesn't go to waste," she concluded.
