The Largest & Open Audition of D'Academy 7 Will Soon Be Held in 5 Major Cities of Indonesia

This year, INDOSIAR is once again holding the D'Academy audition, which will soon enter its seventh season. Throughout this period, the dangdut talent search INDOSIAR D'Academy & Liga Dangdut Indonesia has proven successful in producing dangdut stars that are still active and bringing a new color to the entertainment industry in the homeland, such as Lesti Kejora, Sridevi, Eby, Afan, Melly Lee, Fildan, Aulia, Selfi Yamma, dr. Iqhbal, Putri Isnari, Ical Majene, Fildan, Faul Gayo, Reza Zakarya, and Owan and Novia from the previous D'Academy 6 season.

Previously, online auditions have been held from February 5, 2025, to May 4, 2025. The next offline or open auditions will be held in five cities in Indonesia, namely Makassar, Surabaya, Prabumulih, Samarinda, and Jakarta, starting this week from April 20, 2025, to May 4, 2025. The first open audition for D'Academy 7 will take place on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Hall A.P Pettarani, Universitas Negeri Makassar, South Sulawesi, featuring Selfi Yamma as a judge.

"In the previous two seasons, the D'Academy auditions were held entirely online. This time, in addition to online auditions, INDOSIAR will also open offline auditions in five cities in Indonesia. The community that has had various limitations in participating in online auditions can come in droves to attend in person in five cities in Indonesia. In this audition for D'Academy 7, local dangdut stars who are also graduates from the D'Academy stage, such as Selfi Yamma, Lady Rara, Fildan, and Putri Isnari, will sit as judges. It is hoped that their presence will also motivate the candidate participants to showcase their best abilities to win a ticket to perform on the grand stage of D’Academy 7 in Jakarta,” said Harsiwi Achmad, the Director of SCM.

1. From Makassar to Jakarta

The largest open audition for D'Academy 7, spread across five cities in Indonesia, will start at 08:00 local time. Here is the information on the venues and locations for the open auditions:

• Makassar City, South Sulawesi: Located at Universitas Negeri Makassar, on Sunday, April 20, 2025, featuring Selfi Yamma as a judge.
• Sidoarjo City, East Java: Located at Ciplaz Sidoarjo, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, featuring Selfi Yamma as a judge.
• Prabumulih City, South Sumatra: Located at the Prabumulih Mayor's Residence Arts Building, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, featuring Lady Rara.
• Samarinda City, East Kalimantan: Located at Samarinda Square, on Sunday, May 4, 2025, featuring Putri Isnari as a judge.
• Jakarta City: Located at INDOSIAR Studio Emtek City, on Sunday, May 4, 2025, featuring Fildan as a judge.

The public can download the offline or open audition form for D'Academy 7 at www.indosiar.com. Fill out and bring the form directly to the audition location. The audition is FREE of charge. The requirements and conditions to participate in the open audition include: participants must be at least 14 years old and a maximum of 23 years old, participants must be Indonesian citizens (proven by showing a valid ID or Family Card), participants must not be under contract with any recording company or artist management, participants must bring original identification (ID card/driver's license/student card/Family Card of residence) at the time of the audition, and participants must submit a photocopy of their ID and two recent color photos in 3R size (Close Up and Full Body).
