'The Next Didi Kempot', Talent Search Event to Find the Successor of the Late Didi Kempot

Based on this fact, GTV has brought a talent search event titled The Next Didi Kempot. From the title, it can be guessed that this program aims to find a successor to the late Didi Kempot in the campursari music genre.

"GTV has a responsibility and role in preserving local culture. The Next Didi Kempot will produce quality campursari singers who directly preserve this type of music. The Next Didi Kempot audition will be open from October 13 to November 9, 2020. There are 2 easy audition options, the first is online audition via the RCTI+ application. Participants only need to download the RCTI+ application, then register the application, login, and upload a demo singing video in the Audition section The Next Didi Kempot.

Meanwhile, for those who are in Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, and East Java, you can audition through the nearest radio stations. Participants only need to bring a singing video recording in CD format to the registered radio stations; Radio Mersi Tangerang, Radio Flamboyan Karawang, Radio Elshanda Indramayu, Radio Yes Cilacap, Radio Rasika FM Pekalongan, Radio Elisa Salatiga, Radio Swara Semarang, Radio CJDW Boyolali, Radio Pesona Bara Yogyakarta, Radio Bahana Ngawi, Radio Rasi FM Magetan, Radio Tidar Sakti Malang, Radio R FM Mojokerto, Radio Warna Pasuruan, Radio Prosa Probolinggo, Radio Vis Banyuwangi, RDI Jakarta, Radio Bonansa Kediri, Radio Salma Klaten, Radio Ronggohadi Lamongan, Radio Dahlia Bandung, and Radio Kota FM Surabaya.
