The wedding of Aldi Bragi and Ikke Nurjanah's daughter, Siti Adira Kania, with Adrian was held with an elegant modern touch. The couple agreed to give their children full freedom to realize their dream wedding.
At the event held in Central Jakarta on Saturday (26/7/2025), Aldi Bragi explained that the wedding concept was entirely a creative idea from Adira and her partner. According to him, today's children have their own vision for their happy day. Check out the complete portraits!
This is the atmosphere of the wedding ceremony of Adira Kania and Adrian which took place intimately. "The kids have their own ideas, their creativity, they have their wants, and the kids nowadays want things a certain way. Like we see, we just, there are no traditions that we follow," said Ikke Nurjanah.
In line with his ex-wife, Aldi added that he and Ikke are only tasked with providing good boundaries and guidance, without interfering in the details of the concept that Adira has designed.
"Kids nowadays, when they get married, want to have their own concept, you know. We can only set some boundaries, and if there's something that seems inappropriate, we will definitely let them know," explained Aldi.
Despite carrying a modern theme, the wedding ceremony still begins with a sacred recitation event to seek blessings from the extended family. For them, spiritual and familial values remain the main foundation.
"The recitation is certainly a must, the blessings from the extended family are what we prioritize in that recitation. Then we went straight to the marriage vow this afternoon," added Ikke.
The bridal attire worn also reflects a blend of tradition and modernity. Aldi describes it as a modern national style, where the elements of Indonesian culture remain strong without losing a contemporary impression. "Actually, it's more national, yes, modern, national modern like that," concluded Aldi.
The decision to grant this freedom shows Aldi and Ikke's full trust in their daughter to design a new chapter in her life.
