This is the Activity that Selfi LIDA Misses in Her Hometown During Ramadan

Kapanlagi.com - Selfi LIDA admits to missing her hometown in Soppeng, South Sulawesi. Especially during the month of Ramadan. Because she and her friends have a routine activity every fasting month, which is preparing takjil for the mosque congregation near her house.

"Coincidentally, the mosque is close to my house, so I used to gather with friends, helping to make takjil for the mosque's iftar," said Selfi LIDA during a virtual interview on the Semangat Senin Indosiar event, Monday (3/5).

1. Favorite Iftar Menu

As for her favorite iftar menu, Selfi LIDA likes sweet drinks.

"When Selfi breaks her fast, she must have sweet drinks like fruit ice, kolak," said the champion of Liga Dangdut Indonesia 2018.

2. Sad Not Being Able to Go Home

This year, Selfi LIDA is sad because she cannot go back to her hometown to follow the government's advice. She admitted missing Eid traditions such as visiting graves and visiting relatives.

"No (going home), maybe just video call (family). (Tradition) of visiting graves of our late grandmother, relatives, going to relatives' houses. But the difference is during this pandemic, we can no longer do that, there are no more crowded guests at home," she concluded.

3. Protecting Loved Ones

Not only Selfi LIDA, many people also feel that there is something missing from Eid because they cannot return to their hometowns during the upcoming Eid al-Fitr. However, this is done to protect loved ones from exposure to Covid-19.
