Threatened Not Being Able to Go Home, Selfi Yamma Hopes to Fast with Family

"Hopefully, it's already safe before Ramadan, the situation has become conducive because we want to welcome Ramadan with a happy and calm heart, not with a worried feeling," said Selfi when contacted by phone on Tuesday (31/3).

Selfi hopes to be able to experience the month of Ramadan with a peaceful feeling. "Because Ramadan only comes once a year, so it must be utilized well to worship without fear because of the current situation," she continued.

1. Going Back to Hometown

In addition, this 20-year-old girl also hopes to gather with her family in the holy month and upcoming Eid al-Fitr. Unfortunately, rumors of a ban on homecoming were circulating some time ago.

Nevertheless, Selfi stated that she will still return to her hometown. "Hopefully I can go home, but if the airport or access is still locked down when the time comes, Selfi will still return during the month of Ramadan," she said.

2. Never Spent Ramadan at Home

Her desire is even greater because during her career in Jakarta, she has never experienced the pleasure of fasting with her family in her hometown.

"Because during Selfi's work in Jakarta, she has never experienced the pleasure of fasting with her family. I just want to experience Ramadan with my family," said Selfi Yamma.
