Uut Permatasari who Used to Rent and Sleep on One Bed with Four People When Living in Bali, Admits to Being Genuine

Kapanlagi.com - Uut Permatasari is not ashamed of living in a boarding house despite being a famous artist. She did it together with her family who now have to settle in Bali.

When met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Friday (29/12/2023), Uut shared her experience of renting in Bali due to her husband's job transfer. However, Uut admitted that she really enjoyed it.

"I have always been someone who is genuine. I don't like pretending. I also don't like people who are fake," said Uut Permatasari.

"As the wife of a civil servant, it's natural to move around for work. He carries out the responsibilities given by his superiors. At that time, my husband was transferred from South Sulawesi to the Bali Regional Police," she continued.

1. Need Time to Adjust

However, he does not deny that moving from one place to another does require time to adjust. While the reason for choosing to rent a room is because he thinks houses in Bali are quite expensive, Uut doesn't mind even if he has to sleep with three others on one bed, and he is willing to sleep on the floor with a smaller mattress.

"It takes transition, adaptation to the place and everything. Because in Bali, houses are expensive, and we haven't found a dormitory yet, so we rent a room. So the bed with a size of 160, is for four people to sleep, me, my husband, and my two children. Sometimes I sleep on the floor, I am given a small mattress," he said.

2. Always Grateful

In addition, Uut is still grateful for her simple life because she has a good husband. She also feels normal with such a life.

"Alhamdulillah, what I mean is, my husband is very good, so I really love him. So, it's okay. Hopefully, we can get a dormitory. I have been renting a room for 6 months. It's not difficult because I have always been taught by my parents since I was little. Even though we have the maid, the art who helps us," she concluded.
