Leaving the dangdut vocal group Trio Macan apparently did not make Vira Vitara leave the world of singing. In fact, Vira wants to prove and get rid of the Trio Macan label by releasing a single titled Namaku.
"To prove to those who belittle and everyone who alienates 'Vira will not be able to, Vira will not be known' there are some individuals who said that, here Vira wants to rise again to break all those words," said Vira on Wednesday (15/2/2023).
Is Seven Stars Record, a label that supports Vira to rise from her downfall after being dismissed from Trio Macan. Even Riccardo Mazzoni, the producer who created the song for Vira to sing.
Vira herself admits that she is grateful that she can still be trusted to continue her career in the entertainment industry as a solo artist. Although there are many conflicting news stating that she stopped singing after no longer being a part of Trio Macan.
"'Namaku', tells the story of me wanting to rise again, that's basically what I want to show that I can do it, my current strengths, people thought I was off but it turns out they were wrong," she said.
When met in the Alam Sutra area, Tanggerang, Vira admitted that before joining Trio Macan, she was a solo dangdut singer. That's why, even though she sings alone, Vira doesn't encounter significant obstacles.
Interestingly, Vira found many challenges in her latest single. Moreover, the genre presented is not 100 percent dangdut, as usual.
"It's like there's a K-pop remix, but dangdut because my vocals are distinctively dangdut, so it would be tacky if we forced it to be K-pop. So, it still has my distinctive dangdut voice, but only the genre changes," she said.
This latest single is her debut after no longer being part of Trio Macan. Vira hopes that her wishes can come true through 'Namaku'.
"Of course, I want Vira's name to be more recognized by people without that label (Trio Macan), I want it to trend, have many listeners, and like Vira's single," she concluded.
