Of all the interesting experiences she went through, one of the most unforgettable ones was when she had to go around looking for clothes for the audition.

"I was asked to bring appropriate clothes for the audition. Because I didn't have any clothes, in the end, when I was in Bandung, I looked for them in salons and finally got a dress to rent for 50 thousand rupiah," Lesti recalled.

1. Change the Economy

Lesti admitted that she was very excited when she participated in the audition back then. Her desire to continue learning and change her family's fate became her strong motivation to dare to fight in the talent search event.

"Yes, I was very excited, really wanted to participate in the audition. Because I wanted to gain experience, and secondly, if there is a chance, I want to change the family's economic situation," said the 21-year-old dangdut singer.

"There are so many dreams that I have from there, really hoping that this is the path for me," she added.

2. Success Until Now

Her hope to change her family's economy turned out to be realized. Now she has become a popular dangdut singer who is admired by many fans.

"(I thought) the most important thing is for me to learn first, gain experience first. Whether I pass or not is a bonus. Alhamdulillah, I have been given the opportunity until now," she concluded.
