According to YouTube data, the watch time of knowledge-related videos, which include topics such as science, humanities, business, and law, in Indonesia in the past year until June 2020 has grown by more than 80% compared to the same period the previous year.

YouTube NextUp is an initiative launched in 2017 and dedicated to nurturing new content creators to accelerate channel growth and take it to the next level.
From this initiative, 12 creators have been selected from various entry categories that transcend language, region, or content genre, across Indonesia. Each of them receives a production kit worth Rp 14,500,000 to help enhance their channels. They have also attended a personalized immersive virtual camp for 3 weeks tailored to their channel needs, and have brought in top Indonesian creators and practitioners to share insights, particularly on video production and content strategy.
In addition, this week also marks the first time that “YouTube Week” is open to the public. Three days with over twelve workshops from YouTube's expert team focusing on how to improve channel growth.

In addition, to add excitement to this year's National Teacher's Day, together with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Kok Bisa and YouTube Learning will hold a live streaming ceremony of the Edukreator Academy Awards titled "Edukreator Academy Awards 2021 Party".
The awards are to celebrate teachers, students, and professionals who have participated in more than ten Edukreator Academy classes focusing on vocational, academic, edutainment, and public health education content.
The live broadcast will be simultaneously aired on the Kok Bisa and Kemendikbud RI channels on Saturday, November 27, 2021, 19:00 - 19:35 WIB and will be attended by Mr. Iwan Syahril, Director General of GTK Kemendikbud RI, as well as selected edukreators who will be finalists for the awards.
