Prince Harry is reported to have a strained relationship with the British Royal Family. According to news from PEOPLE Magazine published on November 6, the strain has occurred since Prince Harry released his memoir titled SPARE earlier this year.

Not only that, his wife has also been absent several times when Prince Harry was attending royal events, one of which was his father's coronation, King Charles III. Now, Prince Harry is even reported to not be attending King Charles III's birthday celebration. Is it true? Find out the complete facts below!

The Sunday Times reports that King Charles III will celebrate his 75th birthday next week at Clarence House. However, Prince Harry is in the spotlight as he is rumored not to be traveling from California, his home with Meghan Markle, to attend the birthday celebration.

Disappointment is then expressed by the spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex to The Sunday Times. The spokesperson tells PEOPLE Magazine that there is a reporting error as Prince Harry has not even been contacted by the royal family regarding the birthday celebration of King Charles III. "It is very disappointing that the Sunday Times has misreported this news." they said.

This is what has caused a stir among the public regarding the rift between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the royal family. However, in the same news, PEOPLE Magazine reveals that the reason Meghan Markle did not attend the king's coronation was to celebrate their son's birthday in California, which falls on the same date.

In fact, shortly after the coronation ceremony of the king at Westminster Abbey, Prince Harry even went straight to the airport to return to California.

The coronation ceremony is not the only real evidence of the rift in Prince Harry's relationship with his family. A source told PEOPLE Magazine before the king's coronation that Harry and Meghan received an email about the royal event from King Charles' office, not from his own father, KLovers!

However, the source said that Prince Harry wanted to hear from his father directly, but it always seemed that someone else was delivering important messages from the royal family.

PEOPLE Magazine also stated that in fact Prince Harry has returned to England, but never had the opportunity to meet his father or brother, Prince William.

Prince Harry is known to have attended the WellChild Awards event in September, which also included a visit to his grandmother's burial place, Queen Elizabeth, at Windsor Castle. However, he was not seen visiting his father who is in Scotland or his brother in Wales to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's death.
