Aang's Adventure is not Over! 'AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER' Will Return for Season 2 & 3

The first series of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER ended with the Fire Nation invading the Earth Kingdom. Omashu has been conquered by the Fire Nation forces led by Zuko's sister, Azula. As mentioned in the story, Omashu is the second largest city in the Earth Kingdom and the capital of one of its provinces. Additionally, Omashu is also one of the last major strongholds in the Earth Kingdom. On the other hand, Aang and his friends have defeated the Northern Water Tribe from the ruthless attacks of the Fire Nation.

This epic tale is not yet finished, Aang's journey as the Avatar is still incomplete. According to Netflix's official website, within 2 weeks after its premiere, AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER became the No. 1 TV show and garnered 41.1 million views in its first 11 days. Furthermore, this series ranked No. 1 in 76 countries and made it to the top 10 in 92 countries! It's really amazing, isn't it, KLovers?

1. Aang's Journey Continues

It can be said that in this season, it is the introduction of a new Avatar who has been missing for 100 years named Aang. The Avatar is a person who can master the four elements (air, water, fire, and earth). In this film series, Aang has not fully accepted that he has become the Avatar who must save the world and bring peace between these four elements. Furthermore, he is the only surviving master of the air element.

The Air Kingdom has been completely destroyed by the forces of the Fire Nation, and only Aang remains in hibernation for 100 years. It is very difficult for a young child to accept his destiny as the Avatar. This one-season journey will continue with two more seasons to perfect Aang's story as the Avatar.

2. News on Season 2 and Season 3 of 'AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER'

In the final episode of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, there is a mid-credits scene that tells the story of how Fire Lord Ozai has seen the imminent arrival of Sozin's Comet. This event will pose a new challenge for the Avatar.

Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Fire Lord Ozai, said in his interview with Netflix Team that the Fire Nation's victory is absolute, as they have gained control over Omashu and imprisoned Earth King Bumi. He also added that he wants to start shooting for season 2 and season 3 right away.

There is no clear information about these two seasons from Netflix yet. However, it is certain that there will be a continuation of Team Aang's adventures. So stay tuned on Netflix for further updates!
