"I tried to get a divorce, but I came home and fell in love again with my wife and kids. Sometimes you feel confused," he told MTV at the time. "This music industry is like a mother, friend, and can blur your vision," he added.
Fortunately, Snoop added that he is grateful that he realized it. "But God is good, so I understand that I need my wife and children in my life. So I threw away the divorce papers. I don't want to get divorced," he said.
"So if you hear about a divorce, it means that my wife filed for divorce against me. I didn't file for divorce against her... And I made a mistake, so I'm trying to fix it."
Snoop Dogg only got married once, to his high school girlfriend, Broadus. But actually, they had multiple wedding ceremonies. After getting married in 1997, they renewed their vows at Charlie Wilson's ranch on January 12, 2008. This wedding ceremony with 200 guests suddenly happened, and the wedding party was eventually featured in one of the episodes of "Snoop Dogg's Father Hood."
As mentioned by this rapper to Larry King in 2008, it takes time to make everything good again. "There are so many apologies and pleas... it's all in my hands to try to fix. Because I'm the one who said I don't want to be part of this (marriage) anymore," said Snoop.
