The singer of the song Vampire also shared the process of writing the song Can't Catch Me Now with Variety. It is reported that Olivia started writing Can't Catch Me Now right after watching the Lionsgate film.

However, despite being trained in writing hit songs, Olivia admitted to facing difficulties in writing Can't Catch Me Now to Entertainment Tonight. This is because Olivia had to put herself in the perspective of the film's character to produce lyrics that are more meaningful.

Reported by Entertainment Tonight, apparently the song Can't Catch Me Now was inspired by the character played by Rachel Zegler, namely Lucy Gray. "I feel very connected to the character Lucy Gray." said Olivia when explaining the inspiration for her song.
