"One thing that is really adorable about my mom is that she is very critical when it comes to snacks and candy. But at her own house, there are all kinds of candy, ice cream — basically, it's like a paradise for kids," Kim revealed.

Kim feels that her mother's strict demeanor on one hand, but providing all kinds of snacks in her own home makes her a bit frustrated, but also funny.

Kris Jenner just celebrated her 69th birthday on November 5, and Kim Kardashian reminisced about a moment during the celebration that showcased their mother's critical attitude.

"So she invited us to her house, and my son went into the freezer to get something—because it was his grandmother's birthday, there was cake in there—but he ended up saying, 'I don't want cake, I just want ice cream,'" Kim said while laughing.

When Jenner saw her grandson eating ice cream, she immediately commented with a bit of surprise, "Look at him eating ice cream." Kim added, "I just thought, 'This is the ice cream at your house, and you're judging me?'"

Kim feels that her mother often considers her a bad mom just because she allows her children to eat ice cream at their grandmother's house.

Kim Kardashian shares parenting duties for her four children with her ex-husband, Kanye West. However, according to a source close to Kim, her daily life is now completely centered around the needs of their children. The source also added that Kim is now taking on the role of a "single mother" because Kanye, 47, is often "absent" from their daily lives.

"Unfortunately, Kanye is rarely around them. Kim is almost like a single mother now," the source told PEOPLE. "Even though she has help, Kim still has to work hard to maintain balance and coordinate everything."

The source added that Kim's life schedule is highly adjusted to her children's activities. When her kids are at school, Kim is busy working, and when they come home, Kim is fully focused as a mother.
