According to TMZ, Sheriff Bill Ayub stated that they believe the body found is Naya Rivera. There are no signs of violence or suicide, they stated that Naya's death was due to drowning or an accident in the water.

2. Before Declared Dead

The disappearance of Naya Rivera was known on Wednesday (8/7/2020) local time after her son, Josey, was found alone on a boat shortly after swimming with his mother. At that time, authorities indicated that Naya had died.

Previously, Josey told investigators that his mother never returned to the boat after they swam in the water. Investigators tirelessly searched until they found Naya's body.
