Taylor Swift began her story when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. At that time, Andrea Swift immediately underwent a series of chemotherapy treatments.

"She (my mother) underwent chemotherapy, and of course, it was very difficult for someone to go through. During the treatment, they (doctors) found a brain tumor," said Taylor.

2. Difficult Times for the Family

Furthermore, she also conveyed, "The symptoms shown by a tumor patient are very different when they are still suffering from cancer. So, these are the most difficult times for our family."

Because of that, Taylor decided to shorten her tour schedule. She just wanted to focus more on accompanying her mother during these difficult times. "Yes, that's it. That's the reason.
