Orlando Bloom Loses 23 Kg for the Film 'THE CUT', Supported by Katy Perry

Bloom explained that he followed a strict diet for three months. This made him feel very stressed and he even thought he would "die" due to the drastic changes.

Orlando Bloom shared his difficult experience of going through this weight loss process. He mentioned that the physical challenges he faced were very tough.

"Basically, I reduced my food intake for three months leading up to filming," said Orlando as quoted by Variety, Sunday (8/9/2024).

This 47-year-old actor is fully committed to his diet program. Orlando Bloom even pays attention to his food intake.

"So my weight dropped quite a bit, and I was also very mentally challenged. You feed someone tuna and cucumber for quite a long time," concluded Orlando Bloom.

3. For the Role in The Cut

Orlando felt the need to do this to dive deeper into his character in the film. Additionally, he also expressed support from his girlfriend who helped him through those tough times.

The film THE CUT itself has premiered at the Film Festival, and Bloom hopes that his new performance will be well received by the audience.

Bloom explained that his lover, Katty Perry, is very aware of his struggles during the filming process and feels touched by what he has gone through.

He added that Perry is always there to support him, taking care of the house and their children while he focuses on his role.
