2. Hospitalized Prior to Passing

Unfortunately, the cause of Prince Philip's passing is still unknown at this time. However, in recent years, the health of the Duke of Edinburgh has been deteriorating, and he has been admitted to the hospital multiple times.

Last February, Prince Philip also received treatment at King Edward VII Hospital in London after feeling unwell following a trip. At that time, the palace stated that the late prince only needed sufficient rest for a few days.
