Quoting TMZ on Friday (11/8), Lil Tay revealed that the news of his and his brother's death is not true. "I want to clarify that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I am truly heartbroken, and struggling to find the right words to say.”

Lil Tay also mentioned that he received many messages and calls to confirm the news of his death, which caused a stir and made his fans mourn. He appeared to deny the unpleasant news.

"This has been a very traumatic 24 hours. Throughout yesterday, I was bombarded with endless phone calls, heartbreaking and tearful, from loved ones while trying to resolve this chaos," Lil Tay explained.

It was reported that Lil Tay had passed away through a post on her Instagram account, but the post spreading the unpleasant news has now been deleted. Lil Tay revealed that her account was hacked by an irresponsible third party to spread false and malicious information.

"My Instagram account was infiltrated by a third party and used to spread false information and rumors about me, to the extent that even my name was misspelled," explained Lil Tay.

When the hoax about her death spread, the news was actually quite confusing. Furthermore, Lil Tay's father and former manager did not provide any confirmation regarding her death. Even the police department had no reports of Lil Tay's death when the media contacted them.
