This pop culture icon series is ready to close its story with the fifth season, and it seems that this conclusion will feel very special. Netflix has announced the official release schedule for this final season in three different parts, giving fans something to look forward to at the end of the year.
The fifth season of Stranger Things will be released in three parts. The first four episodes will be released on November 27, 2025, at 07:00 WIB. The next three episodes will be available right on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, also at 07:00 WIB. Meanwhile, the final episode will be released on December 31, 2025, at 07:00 WIB, making it an exciting year-end closure.
This announcement was made during Netflix's annual fan event, Tudum 2025. A new teaser was also released, featuring a recap of previous seasons combined with brief clips from the fifth season.
The teaser concluded with a tense scene: Will Byers (played by Noah Schnapp) screaming 'Run!' as he faces something that appears far more terrifying than anything he has ever experienced before.
The fifth season will be set in the fall of 1987, as the town of Hawkins is still shaken by the opening of Rifts, dimensional rifts that bring darkness into the real world. Our heroes reunite to face the final battle against Vecna, the evil figure who has been the main threat since the previous season.
According to the official synopsis, this season will be the darkest and deadliest battle. "The final fight is at hand and with it comes a darkness stronger and more lethal than anything they have ever faced," the description states. To end this nightmare, they need everyone, all party members must stand together one last time.
This final season will once again feature the main stars: Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, and Sadie Sink.
