11 Photos of Iconic Indonesian Film Shooting Locations, Let's Nostalgia

These 11 photos were successfully captured by KapanLagi from iconic Indonesian film shooting locations. One of them that we managed to capture is the balcony where Alek (Chicco Jericko) and Sari (Tara Basro) embraced at the ending of A COPY OF MIND. Since it was used as a shooting location, has it remained the same as before? Or has it changed a lot and even switched functions?

Let's take a look. Let's reminisce together through these photos. For KLovers who have never watched the movie, watch it soon too. You won't regret it.

In one scene of PUNK IN LOVE, there is a character who wants to jump from the roof of the Department of Religion Building. In reality, this building is one of the buildings at the State University of Malang. Which UM student's voice is it?

Guess what has changed in one corner of the apartment complex in Tanah Abang.

One of the multipurpose buildings in the movie now looks more beautiful with pictures and ornamental plants. The movie MENGEJAR MATAHARI was filmed 15 years ago.

There haven't been many changes in that location. The plants are still being maintained to preserve the naturalness of the apartment complex.

Meanwhile, in another scene showing Joni about to help someone cross the street, the building behind him has remained unchanged until now.

In another corner, plants that used to be abundant are now decreasing due to house renovations.

For those of you who have watched MENGEJAR MATAHARI, you must be familiar with the apartment where the four friends Ardi, Damar, Nino, and Apin live. Its location is in the Tanah Abang area.

In the movie JANJI JONI released in 2005, one of the buildings in Kota Tua can be seen as neglected and covered in moss. The roof also looks worn out. In KapanLagi's photo, the building appears sturdy and beautiful.

This scene is the ending of the film A COPY OF MY MIND. And you would agree that this is the most heartbreaking ending in Indonesian cinema. This balcony is located in one of the buildings in the Tamansari area, Jakarta.

In one scene of DILAN 1990, the TVRI Building can be seen. The difference in appearance of the building in the film and in the real world is only in the logo used.

For KLovers who are originally from Malang, they will immediately recognize the location in the opening scene of YOWIS BEN. It is none other than in front of the Ijen Church in Malang. It is located near the famous Ijen boulevard in Malang. Still not satisfied? We also have photos of schools in ADA APA DENGAN CINTA. Click here.
