This film is set in a remote village in Java during the 1960s and tells the tragic love story between Rasus (Oka Antara) and Srintil (Prisia Nasution), a ronggeng dancer who is considered sacred in the village. Srintil feels that her destiny as a ronggeng prevents her from having a normal life, including having a relationship with Rasus, who is a soldier. Srintil, a ronggeng dancer, is the central figure of this story. This role earned Prisia Nasution an award at the Indonesian Film Festival (FFI) as Best Actress.
