'A+' Series Drama School Children that Will Thrill Many Countries

Kapanlagi.com - 'A+' Series, a new work from director Fajar Bustomi adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name, will be aired on Prime Video in many countries. The series based on Adinda Putri's novel has been airing on Prime Video since May 25, 2023. Until now, 'A+' series has been ranked number 1 on Prime Video.

"The story of this series begins with the elite school of Bina Indonesia, where the smartest children study. However, there is a manipulative and corrupt education system behind it. When they reach the 12th grade, the tuition fee will be determined according to the students' ranking," said Fajar Bustomi in his press release.

"This triggers a fierce competition among the students. As a result of this competition, one student commits suicide. This makes the five smartest students uncomfortable with the rule. They want change. Therefore, they dare to fight even if they have to deal with the school's top officials," he continued.

Not only presenting an interesting story, 'A+' series also presents the best acting from several well-known young actors to portray their respective characters, such as Nurra Datau, Antonio Blanco Jr, Ziva Magnolya, Rey Bong, Livy Renata, and Aliando Syarief.

"The six of them will be a blend of an ensemble cast that has never existed before. Their characters are also interesting and quite contrasting," he said.

Fajar Bustomi is known as a director of school-themed films, such as the Dilan trilogy, Mariposa, and 12 Cerita Glen Anggara. However, A+ marks Fajar's first time directing a series.
