Beautiful actress Carissa Perusset once again demonstrates her acting prowess in her latest horror-comedy film, MAJU SEREM MUNDUR HOROR. However, this time she faces a new challenge she has never tried before: the world of comedy.

For Carissa, this film marks her debut in a genre that tickles the stomach. She admits she is very happy to act alongside renowned comedians such as Maell Lee and Dodit Mulyanto, known for their distinctive humor.

This experience became a new school for her. She admitted to learning a lot from the improvisational skills of her co-stars who always succeeded in breaking into laughter on set.

"I'm happy here because I get to work with funny colleagues. There are actually a lot of improvements, especially in their comedy," she said in the Epicentrum area, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Monday (20/10/2025).

Although she initially felt out of place, Carissa managed to adapt and actually enjoyed every moment on set. For her, this is a valuable opportunity to step out of her comfort zone.

"I've never done comedy before, so this is my first time acting in a comedy film and I've learned a lot, especially from this film and my other friends," she added.

On the other hand, the filming of this horror movie was also colored by mystical experiences. Carissa admitted that one of the filming locations, which is near a large banyan tree, indeed had a rather eerie atmosphere. "There is something creepy, there is that tall banyan tree," she said.

However, she claims not to be very sensitive to supernatural things. Instead, her co-star, Sara Fajira, had to experience unexpected events, even becoming possessed at the location. "Sara Fajira is the one who is sensitive," she concluded.

The film MAJU SEREM MUNDUR HOROR itself tells the story of a group of students trying to make a horror movie, but they end up trapped in a mystical terror wrapped in comedy.
