Producer King Bagus presents DIPONEGORO HERO: 200 YEARS OF JAVA WAR, a film themed around national heroes. Uniquely, this film is entirely made using artificial intelligence technology, also known as Artificial Intelligence (AI). King Bagus revealed several facts related to this film.

First, he revealed that the production process only took one month with a budget of Rp 200 million. "While many are making films with large budgets, we made this film with a budget of 200 million in one month," said King Bagus in the Senayan area of Central Jakarta, Thursday (14/8/2025).
Regarding the challenges while working on this film, he admitted that the toughest challenge was building visual consistency of the AI from start to finish.
"Building consistency for AI is very difficult. Many can manage 8 seconds, 16 seconds, but when challenged with 3 minutes, they falter. Well, we have to maintain that," he said.
"It can be seen from the front to the back that it remains consistent, the enemies are still consistent. That is the challenge of AI technology to be made into a film," explained King Bagus.
In addition, King Bagus mentioned that the appearance of babies was one of his toughest challenges. "It is very difficult to depict babies in AI. Besides the war, there are also languages, including Dutch, Javanese, and Indonesian, and that has to be precise," he added.
The film 'DIPONEGORO HERO: 200 YEARS OF JAVA WAR' reconstructs the struggle of Prince Diponegoro in the Java War (1825–1830) against Dutch colonialism.
The visuals are built from historical research combined with AI technology to create the atmosphere of the city, the battlefield, and the characters with high detail.
This 30-minute film premiered at Cinepolis Senayan Park, Jakarta, on August 14, 2025, and can be watched for free on the platform usky.ai.
