Ananta Rispo Becomes the Main Actor in KETOK MEJIK, Struggles with Romantic Scenes with Ersya Aurelia

Comedian Ananta Rispo faces a new challenge by becoming the main actor in the latest comedy-drama film titled KETOK MEJIK. He is paired with the beautiful actress Ersya Aurelia as a couple in the film's storyline.

Rispo admits he is very excited to have this great opportunity to showcase his acting talent, which is very different from before. For him, this role is a moment of proof that he is not just a comedian who likes to act absurdly on stage.

Being a co-star with a comedian who often acts strangely does not make Ersya Aurelia feel challenged when in front of the camera. On the contrary, she feels very proud and happy to be able to collaborate with other talented actors in this project.

Ersya feels that joining this film is a great honor for her career journey in the acting world. She admits to enjoying every moment of shooting with Rispo and the entire crew involved on set.

"This is the time for me to show that I am quite capable. And this is a new experience for me, so the main cast has to carry the story," said Ananta Rispo when met at XXI Epicentrum Kuningan, South Jakarta, Sunday (09/08/2026).

"Being a part of this is the biggest honor for me. Moreover, being united with the amazing actors here. I am very happy to be able to work together with my friends here," said Ersya Aurelia.

Rispo admitted that performing romantic scenes with Ersya was the most challenging part during the filming process of this movie.

"In my opinion, it is quite difficult. Quite, because for the romantic scenes, we have to be very close. I have acted in films before, and I am afraid of confusing love with desire," Rispo said, then laughed.

Although Rispo felt nervous at times, Ersya assessed that his co-star successfully stepped out of his comfort zone as a messy comedian. He proved that a comedian can also act seriously very well in front of an audience.

"In fact, throughout the roadshow, many people asked, 'Rispo is so absurd, can he play drama?' even though the questioning was like that. But I said no, I'm fine, no difficulties," he said.
