Becoming a Fortune Teller in 'MAMA: MESSAGE FROM HELL', Callista Arum Learns Tarot Cards

Initially, Callista Arum mentioned that the shooting process took place in Bandung, West Java. Overall, the process was enjoyable. 

Then, Callista shared that she played a Princess who is the daughter of a deceased tarot reader. Because of this, Callista admitted that she also learned to actually play tarot during the shooting process.

"I just kind of inherited it, like I’ve seen my mom play tarot since I was little, so I kind of knew a little. Oh yeah. We started playing, and then I really could do it," said Callista Arum.

It turns out, Callista's ability to read tarot was confirmed by Naura Hakim, who is her co-star. Naura mentioned that Callista read tarot about her life during their reading session together. 

"I swear, you guys must know. So during our reading, Callista also had to learn tarot, right? Then eventually, all of us who were reading asked Callista, 'Please tell me how my love life is, then how is my future, then what are my life problems like, etc.' And funny enough, when Callista said that, it really happened. And I truly felt it. Then I was like super shocked," said Naura Hakim.

Realizing that her tarot predictions were 'spot on', Callista was also surprised. However, she admitted that there were several tarot learning sessions accompanied by a professional tarot expert.

"Wow, I was also surprised. Because I really read that while joking. But there were some sessions where we were accompanied, learning tarot with a real tarot reader. Then they said like, just try it, you try to read. So I tried to read. I was really reading completely jokingly, I wasn't serious at all. But sometimes they would say things like, but that's true. What you read is true," said Callista Arum.

Finally, Naura mentioned that her biggest challenge while shooting with Callista was trying not to laugh. How come?

"My biggest challenge while shooting this film was just not being able to hold back my laughter. Because whenever I'm with Callista, I just lose it, everything makes me laugh. So it was really hard for me," concluded Naura.
