"Especially with the implementation of health protocols, we have seen reports that cinemas are comfortable and safe as long as we all follow the health protocols. I am very confident, that's why I will release a major film from MD on December 24, 2020," he added.

Referring to a big film that will be released at the end of the year, Manoj Punjabi mentioned that the film is part of the Danur Universe.

"There is something big from MD. Wait, I will announce it on Thursday, November 19th. One of the films from the Danur Universe," he explained.

Manoj Punjabi also revealed the reason why MD Entertainment dares to take the risk of releasing a big film in the midst of this pandemic. This is a form of support to revive the Indonesian film industry that has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

"I am committed to supporting cinemas by not giving trivial films and I also encourage people to dare to go to the cinema. I hope that the exhibitor partners also see my commitment and respond to Indonesian films more seriously," he said.

"This is an opportunity for Indonesian films to progress because most Western films have postponed their release.
