Chicco Kurniawan Starring in 'PRIMBON' Film Directed by Rudi Soedjarwo, Reveals Challenges of Shooting in Difficult Locations

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Chicco Kurniawan is preparing to release his latest film titled PRIMBON. In this horror drama genre, Chicco received guidance from director Rudi Soedjarwo.

Rudi is one of the famous filmmakers in this country. It's no wonder that Chicco was thrilled to be involved. He admitted to learning a lot while working with the director.

"The first time I was called by Mas Rudi, with a lot of knowledge I have about him, we finally had a conversation. The conversation was very enjoyable. The shooting process was also exciting," said Chicco, interviewed in the Petogogan area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/7/2023).

1. Shooting in Heavy Medan

The shooting process of PRIMBON, revealed by Chicco Kurniawan, was very difficult. Especially when filming in a heavily challenging terrain in the forest.

"During the shooting, the terrain was quite heavy because we were in the forest. There was running around, there was rain. And there was a shooting story from morning until night, because it was raining, so we had to maintain continuity with wet conditions," said the younger brother of actor Bobby Samuel.

2. Lost in the Middle of Climbing

PRIMBON is a horror drama produced jointly by Maxima Pictures and Cakra Film. It tells the story of two friends named Rana and Janu who go climbing in the mountains in unfavorable weather conditions.

Rana's disappearance during the climb made the extended family hold a tahlilan ceremony because they thought the girl was already dead. However, the next day Rana returned. Instead of being happy, the family felt something strange.
