Dating, Jerome Kurnia and Carissa Perusset Remain Professional While Working - Turned into Friends

Kapanlagi.com - Young stars Jerome Kurnia and Carissa Perusset are known to be in a romantic relationship. They are then united in the horror film SURAT DARI KEMATIAN (Letter from Death) based on the novel of the same title by Adham T Fusama.

Interestingly, both Jerome and Carissa initially didn't know that they were involved in the same production. Because initially only Jerome, then Carissa took the offered role.

"At first, we both didn't know that it was a new project. Jerome once told me about a horror offer, but he was confused whether to take it or not. I told him to take it. Then a few months later, I got this project, I took it, and it turned out to be the same, so it was unintentional," explained Carissa when met at the gala premiere of SURAT DARI KEMATIAN in Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Monday (6/1/2020).

1. Becoming Friends

Although involved in the same production, Jerome Kurnia and Carissa Perusset remain professional in their work. In fact, it is during those times that they act as supportive friends to each other.

"During filming, we're all fine, having fun. It's like she becomes a friend of mine, like we're not romantically dating," explained the 1998-born actress.

2. Talking About Films

During breaks, Jerome Kurnia and Carissa Perusset mostly talk about films. Because both of them really love the industry. Especially Carissa, who aspires to work behind the scenes as a director or screenplay writer.

"During breaks, we always talk about films because both of us really love them. So we always talk about it and when she's shooting something, she always tells me about it. Because she prefers shooting over me, she prefers acting. And maybe her career is in that field, so we always talk about films. As for me, I prefer behind the scenes, I'm not really fond of acting in front of the camera," she concluded.
