Family Allows Edelenyi Laura Anna's Story to Become a Film, Greta Irene's Reason: We Have Memories That Will Always Be There

Kapanlagi.com - MD Pictures production house adapts the story of the late Edelenyi Laura Anna into a film titled LAURA. The step taken by Manoj Punjabi as the producer apparently has obtained approval from the family.

Greta Irene, Laura Anna's sister, revealed that there is a special mission behind the given permission. Apparently, the family wants to make a final tribute that will be remembered forever.

"Our family is very happy with the existence of this film. We have a memory that will always be there. Later, when my younger siblings grow up, they can still see how their sister fought," said Irene when met at MD Place, Setiabudi area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (23/1/2024).

1. The Film Has Dramatization

Although based on the true story experienced by Laura Anna, Greta Irene said that there is dramatization in the film LAURA directed by Hanung Bramantyo. This is not a problem for the family as long as the message they want to convey remains.

"This film is based on a true story. But it's like there's drama, there's fiction. It has to be like that, it's a film, there are some things that don't need to be included. But everyone will know the real Laura," said Irene.

2. Still There is Grief

For over two years, Laura Anna has passed away forever. However, Greta Irene and her mother still feel sad when they remember the person they loved.

"There is still sadness," said Amel, Laura Anna's mother, on the same occasion. "Sometimes when we talk about it again, we still feel sad. But everything is a process," Irene emphasized.
