Fiki Naki Debuts in 'PAKET SANTET' After Three Failed Casting Attempts

Kapanlagi.com - Fiki Naki officially steps into the acting world through the horror film PAKET SANTET produced by BASE Entertainment. He is trusted to play Firza, one of seven students who are terrorized by black magic through a mysterious package.

The journey to this role was not instant. Previously, Fiki admitted he had received offers for film projects from different production houses three times, but had not succeeded in securing a role. He also did self-tapes for three production houses and did not receive any follow-up calls.

"Okay, I play as Firza. And Firza is a laid-back person, yeah. But because he is too laid-back, well, this is the problem. Because being too laid-back... so if you are a laid-back person, that's fine, guys, but maybe don’t be too laid-back, okay? Because there might be something behind that you don’t know is coming, so be careful, you know?" said Fiki Naki when met at CGV Grand Indonesia, Tuesday (18/8).

1. From Self-Tape to the First Shoot

The opportunity to star in PAKET SANTET came after Fiki went through several casting processes for other projects. His team then informed him of an offer from BASE Entertainment for this horror film.

Fiki participated in an offline casting with the casting director. From that session, he was deemed suitable for the role of Firza, and then proceeded to the reading and screen test stages. This process eventually brought Fiki to the shooting set alongside more experienced actors.

“I still can’t believe it until the reading, meeting with the cast friends like Fatih, 'Wassup bro!' Wow, it feels like I’m really in a movie now. After that, it was really the screen test until finally, it was really shooting,”

said Fiki Naki.

2. Building the Character of Firza in Paket Santet

On screen, Fiki plays the laid-back Firza, but this attitude becomes a problem when the terror starts to approach. According to him, this character has a closeness to his habits, so he needs to be more sensitive when building Firza's responses to sudden danger.

During production, Fiki received direct guidance from director Dinna Jasanti to deepen Firza's responses and dynamics in the midst of the terror situation. This approach helped him understand the boundary between being relaxed and being negligent, as he mentioned when discussing his character.

This film marks Fiki's acting debut alongside a lineup of young actors, including Fatih Unru, Yasamin Jasem, Gabriella Ekaputri, Fadly Faisal, Farandika, and Azela Putri. The interactions during the reading sessions to the shooting also strengthened the chemistry among the characters, who are college students targeted by the curse.

3. Synopsis, Creative Team, and Release Schedule

PAKET SANTET tells the story of seven students: Deva, Bela, Celia, Ale, Firza, Glen, and Kiki, who become victims of black magic through a package. The terror is related to unresolved past wounds and the revenge of someone who has never forgotten previous events.

The film's script is written by Obe Karel, Titien Wattimena, and Ambaridzki Ramadhantyo. Meanwhile, the production team includes Shanty Harmayn, Aoura Lovenson Chandra, and Tanya Yuson, with Dinna Jasanti as the director.

PAKET SANTET is scheduled to be released in theaters starting August 27, 2026. With the role of Firza, Fiki Naki marks his film debut in this BASE Entertainment production that focuses on horror tension and past conflicts.
