Mesari Pictures production house presents their latest horror film titled NARIK SUKMO. Collaborating with JP Pictures, this film promises tension rich in the mystery culture of Java. Febby Rastanty couldn't hide her excitement when starring in her first horror film. She admitted that this film was a new experience for her because she had to perform traditional dance.

"Here, the development of my character goes up and down, the emotions go up and down. And I took on a new challenge, which is traditional dance. I was directly guided by Mrs. Elly Lutan and I was required to dance with feeling, from within, not just memorizing," she said.

Aliando, who was previously known for his drama films, apparently had no hesitation in trying a new genre by starring in a horror film. NARIK SUKMO is his second horror film after the success of his first film. Aliando is optimistic that this film will be an extraordinary work thanks to the teamwork and abilities of the cast.

Darmawan Surjadi, Executive Producer and Producer of Mesari Pictures, is optimistic that the film NARIK SUKMO will achieve success at the Indonesian box office. His confidence is based on a strong story and starring the best actors and actresses. On the other hand, the director, Indra Gunawan, admits that adapting a novel into a film is not an easy task. However, with the support of a solid team, a great script, and a thorough casting process, he believes that this film will sell in the market.

3. Film Synopsis 'NARIK SUKMO', Rich with Javanese Nuances

NARIK SUKMO immerses us in a story of mystery and romance set in the village of Kelawangin, on the border of Central Java and East Java. The story begins with Kenar's (Febby Rastanty) visit to her friend Ayu's (Dea "Imut" Annisa) hometown. Since their arrival, the village has been engulfed in heavy rain, which seems like a bad omen. Kenar is haunted by nightmares of a dark figure who wants to take her soul.

Amidst the tension and mystery, the village of Kelawangin holds tightly guarded dark secrets. Conflict after conflict arises, awakening vengeance from innocent souls. In the midst of this intense situation, Kenar finds love with Dierja (Aliando Syarief).
