Aghniny Haque is back on the big screen with the release of the film TUHAN, IZINKAN AKU BERDOSA. The film will be released in Indonesian cinemas on May 22, 2024, simultaneously. It has previously been screened at film festivals such as Jakarta Film Week 2023 and Jogja-NETPAC Asia Film Festival (JAFF) 2023. This film depicts the reality of sexual harassment in Indonesian society based on religion. It portrays a college student named Kiran who has strong beliefs about her religion. Equipped with the knowledge she gained during her time as a student, Kiran spreads her religious teachings with her devoted attitude towards her parents.
Kiran's family is financially struggling, and she wants to graduate as soon as possible because her parents cannot afford her education. Kiran's father is retired and seriously ill, while her mother is a typical housewife.
As a critical-thinking student who is ready to reject anything that goes against her desires, Kiran receives both praise and criticism. She believes in every decision she makes because she believes it is right.
One day, a religious leader whom Kiran looks up to approaches her. He offers to marry Kiran through the process of taaruf and will also support Kiran and her family financially. Upon learning this, Kiran's heart is moved to accept the offer out of necessity. Little did she know, the religious leader already has two wives and they are all still married. What will happen to Kiran next? Watch it in theaters on May 22, 2024!

According to Aghniny, the character Kiran is a character with a wide range of emotions that is rarely seen in Indonesian cinema today. “In my opinion, the range of emotions in this character is very wide, and I think this character is very rarely seen,” Aghniny revealed in an interview on the Instagram account @mvppictures_id today, Friday (10/5).
“I believe that the right actress will be able to embody this character,” Aghniny added. That's why every emotion, facial expression, everything is clearly conveyed in Aghniny's portrayal of Kiran.
