For the Sake of Ranah 3 Warna, Arbani Yasiz Loses 8 Kilograms

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Arbani Yasiz is someone who can be said to always give his all in every role he plays in a movie title. Like when he got the role in his latest movie titled Ranah 3 Warna, where Arbani Yasiz was willing to lose 8 kilograms of weight.

"So, from 69 kilograms, I went down to 61 kilograms," said the man who is familiarly called Bani when met at Epicentrum XXI South Jakarta, Thursday (23/6) night.

In addition, Bani, who played a Minangkabau young man named Alif Fikri, was also required to master three languages for this film, namely Minang, Arabic, and French.

"It's really heavy. Because I had to learn three languages," said the 27-year-old man.

However, Arbani Yasiz expressed his gratitude that the film was finally completed and released in theaters in the country. This was because the release of the film was delayed for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Honestly, I'm very happy. Not only me, all the cast and crew are also happy because we can finally have a gala premiere," he concluded.

Ranah 3 Warna itself is the latest film from MNC Pictures directed by Guntur Soeharjanto and will be released in theaters on June 30, 2022.

The film Ranah 3 Warna tells the story of Alif Fikri's (Arbani Yasiz) struggle to study abroad like his idol BJ Habibie. Unfortunately, Alif's wishes were met with great challenges from academic, environmental, and social aspects.

3. Dilemma

Starting from matters of love, where Alif has a crush on one of his college friends, Raisa (Amanda Rawles). The test becomes more difficult because Randai (Teuku Rassya), Alif's friend from the same village, also shows interest in Raisa.

The dilemma of maintaining love or friendship burdens Alif. Because he had already promised to focus on completing his education for his late father.
