The most anticipated horror film of the year, IBLIS DALAM KANDUNGAN 2: DECEPTION, has managed to capture public attention even before its official release on February 27, 2025. With over 5,000 tickets sold during the early screening sessions in various cities, such as Jakarta, Bogor, Medan, and Kalimantan, the audience's enthusiasm demonstrates the immense appeal of this sequel.

According to DHF Entertainment, this early screening aims to gauge audience reactions. The results are extraordinary, with the cinema atmosphere filled with tension and emotional support for the main characters. This film continues the story from the first film by answering various mysteries that were left hanging.

IBLIS DALAM KANDUNGAN 2: DECEPTION tells the struggle of Alani and Vito, the adopted child of Mrs. Amelia who is pregnant, amidst dark secrets in the hospital where the delivery takes place. From start to finish, the audience will be treated to thrilling moments that intensify the atmosphere even more. Here are the details.

Widi Mulia, one of the main actors, shared her experience playing Amelia, a pregnant mother with a story full of surprises. Widi revealed when met in the Kuningan area of South Jakarta, Monday (24/2/2025). "Previously in IDK 1, I wasn't the one who played Amelia. But in IDK 2, I feel very refreshed. There are many opportunities for empowered women, and I really like it, especially for the character Amelia. The audience will see her as a victim, but it turns out she has her own storyline that is surprising," said Widi.

According to her, roles like Amelia are important to showcase the strength of women, especially mothers, in navigating their adventures and struggles in life. “I am also a movie lover, so I really want there to be unexpected stories that give space for women to shine. This is what excites me,” she added.

This film also offers many challenges, especially for action scenes that are rarely found in horror film productions. Widi admitted to being very impressed with one scene in the hospital. “The surgery scene is very detailed and draining. Even though there are only four of us in the core team, the chemistry is very strong. This is an extraordinary teamwork, something I might not get in other productions,” he said.

However, shooting this film was not without obstacles. Widi mentioned that some action scenes were quite difficult, but the thorough preparation from the production team made everything easier. “There are difficulties, but they have their own tricks and strategies. Solid cooperation is more important than relying on each other,” said Widi.

The filming process itself took place about 2.5 years ago, with a shooting duration for Widi of about two weeks. The filming location was also quite far from Jakarta. “I forgot exactly where, but it was two hours from Jakarta because the road was really bad,” he recalled.

One of the interesting experiences that Widi had was a horror incident on the shooting location. “I was a witness when one of the supporting actors experienced possession, as the young people say now. I didn't see the process, just saw it when it was over. It was quite scary,” he shared.
