JALAN PULANG is the directorial debut of Jeropoint, a figure known for viral horror threads on the X platform. The script was written by the Kelanara Studio team over 18 months with in-depth cultural research, including Javanese rituals and Sundanese suluk. The film highlights a tense atmosphere with a dominant bluish-green visual color and intense reverse-chant-based sound design.

The shooting process lasted for 38 days. About 70% of the filming was done in the Pronosutan forest, Kulon Progo, with the rest in a Jakarta studio. This film offers an immersive visual and audio experience, combining modern horror with the richness of local mythology.
